I am new to this site but I am a avidad fan of ford 's I HAVE 4 THE first is an 78 f-150 that I bought new in 1977, I have put 475 thousand on this truck with various engine options, it has had two 351 two 429, right now it has a 460 truck block bored 30 over balanced & blued, it has 429 dove-c heads that have been decked 20 thou ported polished pro comp cam, magnam roler rockers eldenbrock intake preator carb, c-6 tran that has heave duty clutches shift kit, 2500 stall with a ford 9" with a detroit locker alloy axles and disk's on all four courners, it has a soft ride 9" suspension 39" mickey thompson, on 15" X 12" Alco rims tilt front end it is black and it is a hard too find step side.
the other trucks are a 1979 Bronco 4 lift 35" tires 351 with eldenbrock top end kit, and headers.
then I HAVE A 2001 Excursion that we have put 119 thousand miles on with 0 problems, brakes and plugs and I CHANGED THEM OUT AT 100 thousand and they still were in toularance. great truck.
we are right now in the process of rebuilding a 64 f- 100 and I have ran into a problem that I hope someone out there can help with I would like to put a idid it tilt stereing colum but ford on this model has the stearing shaft that comes all the way into the cab. I want to keep the straight axle. is there some way to modify or change out the stearing box to acomplish this.

Welcome to the site!

You will want to post your question in the tech forums since this one is used for introductions. Click on the Forums tab at the upper left and scroll over the boards to find your application. I would start here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum40/

You have some nice trucks and you'll find a lot out here.
