lol, everyone has their preference. I would have gone with autometer, but decided I wanted blackout style gauges. There are a lot of junk brands of those as well. SPW, Prosport, and Megan are the top 3. Like Autometer, Dripcol, and ISSPro are.
Your right its my opinion on the subject. i honestly have never really heard many good things about Automete. Heard about way to many problems for my taste.
I have two glowshifts and they suck. The boost gauge worked for about 3 days then quit. The pyro works but sometimes I question it. For example when Im pulling my boat up a steep grade and the pryo reads 400* I know that isnt right.
I switched the boost out for an Isspro and as soon as I get the money an Isspro pyro will be replacing the glowshift.
You get what you pay for.... spend the extra money and you wont be sorry. IMO
