Anyone know what's inside that thing? Probally just a resistor, can someone ohm one out and tell us what the value is?
How does the puter do its KOEO check? does it look for a change in the temp sensor in the CAC manifold? Or does that other wire on the relay output termial go back to the puter?
You can run wihtout it, like I've been doing since January of this year. Won't cause any problems if you don't have it. I'm waiting until I either order something else form them or someone identifies how its made so I can make my own.
F250, it looks like the black wire off AIH could be used to ground relay, with install of larger conector, Instead of a whole new wire going from ground to AIH relay. Actually I'm not looking at my truck right now so wire would probably be too short to reach relay. But would work if it was long enough.
Mine is wrapped with electrical tape and is in the valley ziptied so it cant "accidentley" touch something
We were not talking about the red hot wire that was originally on relay, we were talking about the new blue wire and possible using the old black wire to ground the relay. Instead of new blue wire. Or atleast I was questioning using the old black, instaed of the new blue wire.
