Just got back from the Pep Boys store in Glen Burnie, MD. Took the coupon in for the $7.00 for 2 oil filters. What a shock from management when I dropped that coupon on them!! They said they had to talk to the store manager, then district or someone else out there. After 10 minutes (I guess they were waiting for me to leave) she came back and said, "Sell 'em". No bad, bought 2 $19.95 filters for 7 bucks!!
They should have been happy, I coulda picked up 4!! Coupon says 4 limit.

me too.
I musta been late cause the shelf was wiped out at 2 different stores. Got 2 at the 3rd store I stopped at. Was hoping that I coulda gotten 8 or so for the shelf to keep the other 18 or so company. I've stocked up each time they offer the sale, but I change the oil on 3 different trucks that use this filter. They go pretty fast.
I think some of the stores are actually pulling them from the shelf during the sale, as they don't really want to honor this coupon for this particular filter. I've gotten some grief buying these but they all have honored it when they had them on the shelf.

Satcom40 the coupon was in a Pep Boys sale paper in the Sunday paper a week ago. You can also print one off of the Pep Boys website. There was a link on the dieselstop forum. I went to purchase some of these filters and they didn't give me any trouble at all. I felt like I was stealing!

OK went to the Pepboys site and print out a coupon I'll see if I can get me a couple of filters. Now I need to know what the filter # is for Fram filter.

I think that they are taking them off the shelves during the sale period. 3 stores, 2 had none and the other store had only 2. Either that or they've already been hit by somebody else before I got there.
