i picked up the two on the self last night after reading this.
manager checked me out with a smile.
i missed out last time around. going back on fri. to see if i can get more.
i dont think they should care because you buy other product like i did or come back later and shop being a happy customer. corprate wants you in the store!

Honestly does anyone here care about the fact we are getting over on the price? Considering the price we are able to pay they are surley still making a profit.....

If they aren't aware of the "deal" that they have advertised then they aren't listening to their store managers. The store managers don't like the sale, atleast that has been my experience and the experiences of others communicated here. I don't care really, if they are gonna advertise the deal, I'm gonna buy as many as I will need. I've got a pile of them now, I'm covered for some time. I can use 16 per year for the 3 trucks I'm servicing, so I've got about 2 years stock piled.

HeavyAssault, I would be interested in buying a few from you. The nearest PepBoys to me is over 2 hours away.
I don't understand why some Pep Boys workers don't want to honor the coupon. It's not like the money is coming out of their pocket. As far as I know Pep Boys is reimbursed for the difference by Fram.

I decided to go to Autozone since they claim to honor any competitors sale price since they were closer than Pep Boys and boy did that **** the Autozone store manager off, LOL. She called Pep Boys to verify that this coupon covers the CH9549 and was told it does and then went on to say that they have 4 in stock (I have never seen 4 of these in stock anywhere!!). So anyway, she honored the price and I left with 2 for $7! As I was pulling out of the parking lot I thought...I should run over to Pep Boys and get those 4 even though that meant another 45 minutes of rush hour traffic. So, I ran over there, picked up the 4 for $14 and I am now set for a year (or so). I really love this screw up.....
