M5r2 Questions
Will a 92'-96' m5r2 work in a 1989 f150. I'm trying to replace tranny and I currently have a 87'-90' m5r2 non-updated (stock). Just want to make sure it will work before buying. If so will I need to do any modifications?

If everything else is good the one thing I would do is replace the plugs in the shift rails with either new rubber plugs or metal cup plugs. The metal plugs are lifetime but the rubber plugs will work if you check them occasionally.
