CCV Mod question

Can I use a piece of 4" PVC instead of exhaust pipe. Reason I'm asking is I have everything to do this mod in my garage but no exhaust pipe just 4" pvc pipe. Wife is gone for the day and I want to do this mod now.

I would think that using a piece of 4" PVC would be ok. I saw someone else here last week that used it. As long as you get a good, air tight seal when you clamp the intake tubes on you should be ok.

I didn't want to chime in ,,but I think the size of the pvc is 3 inch, but I could be wrong.

The intake tube IDs are 4". They neck down to 3" at the turbo inlet.

Well it's done and just in time closing the hood and the wife pulled up. Little close on that one. Thanks for the input. What mod to do next, I think it will be the aih delete and boost gage. little but little and some day I'll have the dp tuner.

For the PVC, it's a 3" coupler - that's what I used. It's 4" OD. You can't use 4" PVC pipe because it's 4" ID.

Thought it was 4" OD and 3 1/2" ID for the PVC. I was going to use it also but wanted bigger for more air flow.
