Doug, What color of blue is that. I quess that is what was on my 51 at one time. My dash is close to that color. Your truck looks great and the wheels set it off to. Great looking truck.

Hey Scott, sorry it took so long to check back on this post. It's 1951 Ford Sheridan Blue.
Thanks for the comments!
The only thing that could make it better would be to get rid of that toothy grin and install a good looking earlier grill in there...........(just kidding)
Someday I hope my truck will look half as good as yours. Very nicely done

Hey, Thanks Bobby! I love how you did the gauges in your truck. I wish the 51's had a different cluster in them so I could copy what you did.
As for the toothy grin, I think I'm going to have one of the teeth electroplated in gold! Or would that be too ghetto?
I think it would be funny.
You could get away with it on a multi-colored beast like mine but with a truck as gorgeous as yours...I'd have to shoot ya
Thanks for the compliment on the gauges
Bobby
I doubt I would ever actually do it, but I like the idea. Maybe I could get another "tooth" and then have it plated and use it like a cap for shows......
I need to call my dentist.
Great looking truck ! same color as mine originally.
I've evolved from going to the original color to possibly picking up on another color from that era. I bought a quart/liter of meadow green did spot on inner dash, also looking at a maroon from the late fifties.
