I'm going to remove the ugly looking foil stuff on my IC pipes. Hope to get more turbo noise too. I have read alot of people over tighten the clamps and crush the pipes Don't want to do that!!! How do you know how thight to make them. Don't want them to leak or smash them. Is there a torque # for them ?? Whats the best way

no torque spec for them..just watch the springs on the calmp..when they bottom out you should be tight enough..build a leak detector to help find leaks..it can be built for less then 20 bucks at low's i have a picture of one in my gallery
Does the bottom clamp near the ic have springs too? I didn't look yet. What are all the parts I need to build a tester for leaks, and where is the best place to test it at??? Thank's
all of my clamps have springs.....you need a 3" PVC coupling and cap one end..and a air reg for a compressor...it will fit into the air intake tube where the CCV vent is..
Thanks again!!!! Im heading to town this morning, going to get the 3/4" hose to do the CCV mod. too, got the 4" pipe to do it!! I only have one good arm right now, that will take me the rest of the day!!
