Almost shiftless

I have a 2003 F350 7.3

Power stroke and the end of my shifter broke off. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, do you have to replace the whole shifter? Or can you just replace the end? It has the overdrive button in it.

If it is just the small end piece on the shifter welcome to the club. They all come off. From the mid 90's thru 04. My 97 f150's came off. My 2000 f250's came off. All the ones where I work came off. All of them I have glued back on and not had a problem. Just clean the plastic with alcohol and use a good glue.

Yep, mine broke off years ago. Guess I should glue it on.

Well I bought my truck with the OD switch already broken off and it's missing. Any idea if it's a replaceable part or do I have to buy the whole shifter?
