Hey mustang
The EBPV (exhaust back pressure valve)delete is done to get more flow out of the turbo outlet by either replacing it with the larger bored out unit without the butterfly in it or by removing the butterfly from the old housing and plugging the holes where it was. It also is used to prevent the possibility of the oil operated rod that controls it from leaking and blowing oil all over the up pipes. I did this once again because i had the turbo out for a rebuild and put in the WW and also the larger oulet without the EBPV valve.
The AIH (air intake heater) is in located in the pipe that goes right into the Y to the intake manifolds you can locate it by finding the selenoid that sits with the one for the glow plugs and following the wire from it. It takes up a considerable amount of room in the pipe and i also did that when i had it apart and was ordering parts. you can get the plug it either has a hole tapped for a boost gauge or you can get it plain. I have read many posts that the heater is hardly used and then it is only used during long idle periods.
