need tires

I have a F-250 crewcab super duty 7.3. I have been running bridgestone duellers in stock size. About 90 percent of the time spent on highway. Only got about 35,000 miles out of the bridgestones. They wore really well and had no road noise. I rotated tires at every oil change (5000 miles) I am needing to buy new tires and was wanting some advice on which ones to buy. Going to stay with stock size.

i keep them stock too, 265/75/16. i run the 10ply cooper atr tires right now and really like them. I think my next set are going to be the liberators from wally world. They're 10ply and will cost the same as the coopers. The good thing is free balance at rotation. I get my oil changed there anyway and figure why not. I paid $15/tire the last time I had them balanced, DOH.

If you want a hard tire, that you can get 50-60 miles out of go with the michelin LTX. But I you go off road at all, they suck. Don't get the Dueler revos, they are worse than the old Duelers. I'm running 285 R75 16, 10 ply BF Goodrich Bajas, not much road noise, good in mud and snow, and got 40 mile out of my last set.

I have the goodyear wranglers on the rear from Sam's for about 15K miles.
Pretty good will last longer than the duellers, but if you really care about road noise and a real comfy ride and maybe a little better in snow the dueller is hard to beat.

It all depends where you drive to, North: soft tire.
South: Hard will do and last.

But don't cheap out.
