Headlight Adjustment??
How do you adust the headlights vertically on an 04 fx4? Took a look at it last night and couldn't figure it out. I have had a leveling kit on for a few years and am really tired of people thinking my brights are on.

I don't think you can adjust them. Do what I do just flash back at them. At a stoplight I realize they can be annoying to others. Sometimes at a light I switch down to the parking lights when I'm blinding someone in front of me.

Iirc, the owners manual said you couldn't make that movement (that much) yourself. The dealership I go to has a machine set-up to make corrections like that and to restore back to OEM specs if necessary.
I had to get my old '99 Ranger corrected for a similar scenario- I believe it took about 45mins (lit'l wait time in front of me) and it was "fixed" with this machine so that I wasn't blinding everyone.

There is an adjustment screw at the top back of the headlight, under the hood.It takes a 4mm wrench. I had the same problem and it had plenty of adjustment to get the lights where they need to be. Its the only adjuster I found. I used my garage door at night and then test drove it on a dark street.
