Cd player in oldsmobile
Ok i got a 95 oldsmobile (grandmas) and i put a cd player in it today. Every thing works great with the cd player. All the wires fit together with the wiring harness except 1. There is a orange wire that says dash light up on it. And theres not another orange wire that i can connect it to. So just left it alone. But tonite my dash didnt lite up. What should i do? Is that a ground wire? Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Chris, Do you mean the illumination of the CD player didn't light up?
I think GM used a Grey wire for this.

No, the illumination of the cd player is working fine. My dash lights dont light up, like speedometer, fuel etc. but when i turn my blinkers on the arrow comes on the dash for that, but thats pretty much it.

did you cover the end of that bare wire?? if not, then get back under the dash and cover it up, then check your fuses, your fuse for the dash lights is probably blown...
