Purely out of curiosity, what is the highest horespower an OBS truck has made or can make? i know there are a few running around in the high 5's, low 6's on #2 only, anything higher??
Zane's twin turboed is probably close to 700 on fuel if not a little more. A friend of mine (sapps psd) has one that is 700+ on nitrous. My obs was 600 on fuel and was above 650 on spray. There's more, just cant think of them now. Lots of superduties 550+. Making big power with an obs is no different than with a superduty, all the hard parts are the same.
what kind of power will these blocks hold?? id think theres an upper limit but ive been wrong before. whats sapp making this power with? b-codes and twins im assuming? oh, so many questions, so little time!
No kidding...Craig is over 700. I hadn't talked to him in years. Good for him.
yes.... well he hasnt dynoed it, but the truck runs 11.7's@112+ mph

Its hard to say with the blocks. Most tend to break at 600+ rwhp. A main girdle seems to help them live longer by eliminating or reducing main walk.
Craig is running BDP custom b codes, bdp s400 turbo, stealth dual hpop, BTS trans, Wildman tuning, 2 stage nitrous and more i cant remember.
yeah i read about that block, it sounds pretty sweet. Its a bit much for my pocket book. Hell with that block and a set of billet conecting rods you'd have 7-8k spent!
Im sure zane and david lott have the highest hp 7.3's right now. well had, david lotts blew up and he hasnt got it going again.
yeah i forgot about Greg, he's been around the block a time or two. he's now swapping in a twin turboed common rail cummins in his truck. His last numbers with the 7.3 was 750rwhp or so on nitrous. His truck also ran in the 11's@ 7800lbs.
