I'm looking at a 4 bbl cast iron intake manifold that I'm told was taken off a 390 out of a 65 car. The part number cast into the top is C5AE-9425-C. Can anyone tell me about it? Would it be a good match for my 69 360 FE (currently with 2 bbl intake)?

This manifold has the tall ports and I am assuming your ’69 360 heads have the shorter ports. There would be a mismatch with the head acting as a dam on the bottom of the manifold runner. Not a good thing but Ford recommended the CJ manifolds on the GT’s even though they have the same mismatch problem.
I think you would be much better off with any of the “S” intakes with your heads imo.
Thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for. Frankly, I don't know what size ports I have, as I've never had my existing manifold or heads off, and I don't know for sure whether they are original.

Hey Barry, I have one with #C8OE-9425-C that appears to be cast with a spread-bore carb in mind but is machined for Holley. Do you know what's up with that?
Eric
They are all like that. Don’t know the story but it is one of a few small differences between the CJ and the so-called identical PI unit. Maybe they planned on a spreadbore version like the 429CJ?
I have an intake that I bet you haven't seen many of. It is a 4v FE ,identical to the picture of barry's, with one exeption, mine has a freeze plug in it. yep it is right under the heater hose neck. I am not sure but I think the casting is of a 63'
