Mil1ion's First post?
When you click his moniker and select "find all posts by Mil1ion" it only grabs the last 500 and that only goes back to September 20th.
I am interested in what his first post was. Mil1ion, do you remeber?

Good to see that fame/prestige hasn't changed him any.
Thanks!

Greetings and salutations! I'm a new owner of a Ford (I've always owned Chevrolet or Dodge) and recently (June) bought a beautiful (used) 2000 Ford F250 4X4 with a powerstroke 7.3L diesel. I was fortunate in finding this 5-year old gem WITH ONLY 40000 MILES ON THE OD!!! I'd like to start by saying that I found this site, because I had problems with the engine seizing and/or shutting off at idle, and my brother went to this post and found out that the problem was PROBABLY a bad Camshaft Position Sensor. I browsed this site and took the recommendations found therein, yesterday going to the International dealer in Charlotte and buying a "blue" heavy-duty International CPS. I'm not much of a mechanic, but I followed the directions for changing a CPS on this site (simple instructions) and did the sucker myself. IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM. The sensor was a bear to get to (belts and steering got in the way), but the process itself was simple, and my baby is running like a Swiss watch! No more problems with seizing and shutting off, and I'd swear the starting is more assertive and it's a bit quieter. Thanks to this site for having some gurus as members who can advise problems relevant to the Ford and/or powerstroke diesel.
So here I am. I'll keep a keen eye on this site and believe that a man's truck should look good BUT should be used like a by-God truck! I love taking it in the mud or putting a slide-on camper on the back or towing a boat. The Ford definitely fits the bill in that regard. I'll look to post some "action" (camping and fishing) pictures, and keep the information highway open! Regards
Steve
p.s. I heard a wonderful "rumor" that Ford/International is bringing back the powerstroke 7.3L diesel with a twin supercharger (700lb torque) in the near future. Anyone hear of, or can confirm this rumor?.......

I went back and looked for my first thread I ever started (logical- I would have introduced myself).
I turned up a thread about funny bumper stickers started by "GUEST" that was dated 12-?-1969....
Which is impossible!
I have no fuzzy idea, but I sorta remember the thread from when I was in Virginia....
I wonder what my own was?

F100 1980 advice required
Ask around locally if you see anyone that has a modified F-100 that looks like they know what they are doing. I found in Virginia (Norfolk area) that not all shops are the same. Some jack up their prices for no apparent reason, so local reccomendations are important.
NAPA, for example can get just about anything. But they price things as if they were made of solid platinum!
You can try J. C. Whitneys, but they only have basic replacement items. Cab-to-frame bushings for example are OEM rubber units - I used polyurethane ones on mine because they last infinitely longer. Those came from an off-road specialty shop after comparing prices.
Many of the items it sounds like you will need can come from scrap yards, or if you search the local classifieds you may find someone parting-out a similar truck.
~Good hunting!
