I have a eary 99 350 with the 7.3. It has the edge module with attitude stacked with the predetor programer, neither is set to max. Truck also has afe intake and 4" exhaust. My service engine soon light comes on under heavy throttle and when towing. When towing the edge will defuel at medium boost, it's set to defuel at 26 psi and the egt's are with in limits. The turbo will also experience compressor stalling at 18-22 psi.
I heared the the light was due to the map sensor receiving a incorrect info. Has anybody experienced these symptoms? What did you do to correct them?

I can get 30+, but I don't like to go that high. Best to keep it no more than 25#. I would be careful with that programer. My DP-TUNER helps control my tranny. Shifts great and keeps it cooler. You can do lots of harm to your tranny if your programer/chip does not help with this. At 25# boost, I get no turbo surge.

I have the same tuner, and edge with attitude, afe stage II, 4" exhaust, tranny has beefed up shift kit and torque converter from TSI, it less of a slush box. I think I'm going to have to increase the housing size to get rid of the surge, mine ocurrs at less than 25#.
