Just wondering if anyone has had this problem with a 99 e250 4.2l
we are a service repair shop in Louisville,ky and we replaced an engine in this van..After replacment of the engine there is now a loud noise that sounds like it is coming from the bell housing area..we have had the trans sent out to a local trans shop and they couldnt find the cause for a noise. We have taken the oil pan off and crabk the engine and cant see anything that would cause a noise (no rubbing marks..etc) The next thing we were going to try is to submerge the oil pickup tube in a buckett of oil and start the engine with the oil pan off and see if the noise was gone with the oil pan off !! but hopefully one of u guys will be able to help me before i loose my mind over this one...Thanks Garry
