I just figured i might as well post this on my favorite site. I think my fiance would kill me if i got my honeymoon ideas of of a ford truck website.
Anyways, my fiance and I are getting married in march 2009, we are waiting till she is finsihed with school and has her new job as a nurse. so we are looking for good honeymoon packages. I figured that since I can start saving now and maybe reserve in advance i might be able to get a really good deal. Does anyone know where a good place to start looking? anyone get a great deal somewhere? we are wanting to go somewhere like the bahamas, fiji, virgin islands, somewhere like that.
well i figured i might as well add this since i am here anyway, i am thinking about lifting my 04 f150 supercrew 2wd about 4 inches, anyone know somewhere that has a lift that size, i can only find 6's, or anyone with pictures would be great. tire size?
My wife and I went to Riviera Mya near Cancun Mexico. Extreamly nice, lots to do, very affordable. Check with Apple Vacations, they are who I went through.
really don't have a budget yet, we are looking around and getting a feel for prices right now. i just figured that since we have awhile to its time, i could get a really good deal by saving and buying in advance. I really want to find something that is all inclusive, so i have a flat rate without needing to worry about money spent on dining.
i would go for the ford plant, but she comes a chevy family. so sad. you should see me and her father go at it. told him that his GMC is just a Gay Mans Chevy.
Death Valley National Park, CA. Stay at the Furnace Creek Inn. March is a good time to go there. I'm not trying to be funny...honeymoons are far too serious to be funny about!

Death Valley, Ca would be a good one, so would Hell's Canyon recreation area in Idaho... I'm just throwing that out there
Seriously, I really think that one of the Hawaiian Islands is a good destination...some are more fun than others. There are a few members from Hawaii on here, I'm sure they would know first hand.
whats a honey moon? when my wife and i got married we left the church (in jeans) and went to dairy queen!! after that is was off to the lufkin speedway to watch some dirt trackin action
If you go to an all inclusive, bring cash for tipping. Your service (and overall experience) depends on it.
For our honeymoon, we spent a week in Disneyland, did a couple of Hollywood outings, and spent a week on a Mexican Riviera cruise. I would recommend the same for anybody. Can't remember the cost though, the whole trip was a wedding gift.
Two different buddies went on road trips for their respective honeymoons. One went east, the other went west.
