Any hotel with soundproofing? Don't plan too much, most just end up in the hotel most of the time anyways..........

2009. Wow! Long time. If you are currently living together, run down to Galveston for the weekend, as an involved honeymoon this late would be a waste of time and money.

If you are not living together, then just about anywhere will do as you will be so into each other(no pun intended) that nothing else will matter anyway. jd

I still believe to actually have a low risk Vacation/Honeymoon ... a Cruise is the only way to go.

So many things included in the price ..you get more time to just pay attention to each other

I'd say don't get married. As an institution it's overrated.

While I find this suggestion strangely appropriate, why spend more time there than he's going to have to?

There is a spot in Pennsylvania that's halfway between Blue Ball and Intercourse you might want to check out.

Since you are in Houston, check out the website for Royal Caribbean Cruises. You can take a cruise to the Caribbean or Bahamas out of Galveston. Book early and save some $! The cruise is great and includes everything except what you buy while you are at your destination and alcohol. Definitely a great honeymoon option, and get the room with a balcony! Best of luck...........

You could check out either Yellowstone national park or Glacier national park. My wife and I have a time-share condo in West Yellowstone and we get to go there in a couple of weeks for our belated honeymoon, (we'll be married a month on the 15th).

She wants to see a bear, so I figure I'll take a shower and parade naked in front of her and growl.

10-4 on the above advice. Save the nice trip for a few years down the road. I second the motion that you will be in the room most of the time anyway.

I borrowed my parent's pickup with a camper on it and took my new wife to Banff for a week.
Besides the obvious activity, we had a great time hiking around, sightseeing, etc.
