so i have this fuel leak on the side of my fuel canister and it looks like it's leaking from some sort of sensor... it's got this cap with wires coming off of it that is really loose and actually pops off while driving.. for now it's just zippy-tied on but i want to fix it permanently
oh i forgot to ask the question i was going to ask lol... does anyone know what that part is?? or if there's another way to fix it then getting the part from ford...
don't know. Powerstrokeshop.com doesn't list one either. I would guess not much. You could also plug it with a pipe plug by removing the sensor and putting the plug in there. I think its 1/8 inch pipe thread.
here is the page that I get most of the part numbers from. Save it. copy and paste it to a WORD document as well. That way you always have it! I might even print it and stick it in my truck with some other handy info. http://www.thedwilsons.com/powerstro...t_Numbers.html
