Almost Done
Well I finally bought some aftermarket wheels 18x8.5 MB Motors Gunner 6 with the Anthracite Machined finish on them. So the only thing left to do now is put some bigger tires on these wheels. I'll probably go with a 305 size tire as soon as these 285 Nitto's wear out. You can look at my signature or gallery to see the other modifications I have done.

That looks great.. Not knowing a lot about rim sizes etc how do those compare the 20" and 22" that come on the 06-08 FX4 Trucks? Are yours 18"s?

04#231 the rims are 18s and they are 8.5" wide. I believe the factory rims are 7.5" wide.
obxredneck...you can buy MB motor wheels at Discount and they are pretty cheap. I bought these at my local discount for $160 a wheel.

I like the stance of the 8.5's it definately fills the wheel well much better then those cheesy scorpions that ford puts on those 20's. That would be something I would need to change Out I think if/when I get a new truck.

Actually they are not chrome they are "Anthracite Machined" basically a polished wheel with a clear coat finish. You can see a good pick of them at

Right, you know what I mean. I almost didn't buy the kind I have on my bronco and just would of went with either a painted or powder coat.
Mine are also polished with a clear coat(looks chrome to me), but you better keep them clean, or the oxidation will get to them and discolor them(fade).

Yeah I'm a freak when it comes to keeping my wheels looking nice. If I had any color truck but blue I would have went with black wheels but with this blue the black just did not look good IMO...which sucked because I really like the black Moto Metals.
