Ranger problem
#2
Fuel filter, dirty injectors, leaking vacuum lines, fuel pressure regulator, bad ignition switch, bad E/DIS ignition module, bad alternator, loose nut behind the wheel.
HOw many ideas do you want? Is that enough?
Seriously, think fuel, air, spark. That's all it takes. Too much or too little will cause a misfire. CHeck to see if you have enough or too little of the fuel & air. You've done the heat (spark) thing.

Gas line dryer first, 2 bottles of heet 2 bottles of iso heet on whatever is in the tank 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 tank run it until 1/8 tank and refill with fresh gas and 2 more bottles of iso heet.. Get some Crc MAss air sensor cleaner take the sensor off the intake tube and spray it for a few seconds let it dry, then do it again until those wires in there are clean. At night get a spray bottle filled with water and spray the wires from coil pack to spark plugs, start the truck with all lights off, look for sparks jumping between wires, to metal on motor, or to low voltage wires which is pretty bad. You will have to reroute the wires or add stand offs or split loom to prevent the arcing!!
