Do you know any guys from Ypsilanti? One of my cruiser friends is from out there he drives a 1954 lincoln capri yellow w/ a green top his name is Larry Harris. He used to live out there then got smart...LOL and moved out here.
No can't say as I do. My cruisin' days were back when I worked at Holley carb. Those cars are long gone now and I'm letting my redneck streak out driving a 4wd and wearing my dale jr. budweiser hat. Still got my hot rodder streak though. Just ordered a Live Wire tuner. I've always wanted to tune my truck like we did developing prototype engines. Now to sit outside in this nice weather and wait for UPS. LOL
SCT? i'm curious to see what kinda gains you get. my Superchips tuner is nice, but i know SCT would be better.
Superchips is owned by SCT. I've done a lot of looking to see who had what. I've seen a lot of good ink from those with Diablo tuners also. I've only seen any complaints from Hypertech users and they are the units you see mostly for sale. I'd sell something that I didn't like either. The guy I called and talked to took the time to explain things. We had a business where we would answer questions and explain things. That sold me and after calling the local spot here and getting little help.

It was a gift from the owner of the nascar group I'm in. He gave it to me when he came up from fla. for xmas. I'd rather have a Tony Stewart one any way.

The guy said the tuner will be here Monday. In the mean time I picked up a Flowmaster replacement muffler and had it installed. They had to stick a section of pipe in since it's shorter than the stock muffler and weighs a lot less too. I should have gotten the more aggressive tone one as this one just makes a mellow tone. I could have saced $40 bucks too. I decided to get a new radio so I could play Mp3 tunes. Come to find outt it has an accelerometer and will give you both acceleration and cornering G forces. It records the highest G loads as it also gives you current force readout. It also gives you a recorded horsepower graph of 30 seconds of data collection. That muffler woke up the engine like you won't believe. I'll go thru the tuner and see what can be monitored in real time. I still want to get a wireband O2 sensor and guage for tuning.
Hi, I'm Rik, just joined & have been a Ford guy forever. I have a 95 Bronco that just laid down on me after 351,242 miles without any repairs! Just brakes & tires & occasional oil change. I also have a 99 Super Duty I'm currently rebuilding the 5.4. Pi heads with non Pi block.
