...the axle is junk, i wanted something cheap like maybe 60$ i could find to make it track lock untill i get a 60 for it. who ever had the truck before me loaded it way over the limit and cracked some of the housing and tubes. i welded them back together but im not spending any more then like 60$ on it because im getting something else in a year or so... but for now, i'd like something cheap and quick
If the housing is junk, you can find other 10.25's for pretty cheap, a D70, or 14 bolt would be better than spending money on a D60 for the back.
I am a fan of the rear 60, but it requires a bit of work / money to make them strong. I would not build another one, knowing what I know now.
