10.25" rear
is there any track lock rebuild kit i can pick up some where for this? it's probley an open now,... iv only ever seen it spin one wheel... but i'd like to find a track lock rebuild for it and chang it over sence im changing the gear oil in it this week.

You try on ebay, or the local driveline shop? If you are worried about it being worn out, you can shim it out to make it stiff again.

awesome, now... if it was an open diff, can i use this kit and make it trac lock? i'v replaced diff's before, and replaced the clutches in 8.8s but not this one. is it similar just bigger? maybe i'll take a look at my manual

buy a lock rite if you have an open diff, or buy a trash loc if you really wan't a crummy inadequate barely good enough for the street limited slip.

...the axle is junk, i wanted something cheap like maybe 60$ i could find to make it track lock untill i get a 60 for it. who ever had the truck before me loaded it way over the limit and cracked some of the housing and tubes. i welded them back together but im not spending any more then like 60$ on it because im getting something else in a year or so... but for now, i'd like something cheap and quick

You are going to get rid of a big axle and buy a D60 with smaller weaker axles, and a smaller 9.75" ring gear?
If the housing is junk, you can find other 10.25's for pretty cheap, a D70, or 14 bolt would be better than spending money on a D60 for the back.
I am a fan of the rear 60, but it requires a bit of work / money to make them strong. I would not build another one, knowing what I know now.

well, i took the covers off both axles today and found some missing teeth and a metalic looking fluid lol... so maybe i will weld the rear spiders together because there F'd anyway lol... looks like im go'n to the junkyard to find some replacments sooner than i had hoped.
