wow!
I was cruzing yesterday at 65-70mph(egt@750) and desided to burn some carbon and with in 3-4 seconds my egt was at 1350 is that normal, can i actually do the quater mile with out melting my piston?Thanks........

Even towing mine does not climb THAT fast.

Did it downshift or was that in OD the whole time? And what tune were you in? EGTs climb fast when you dump fuel without having the RPMs up there.

I dont remember if it did dowmshift but i know i was in the 80 econ. Once the RPMs get higher should the egts start to drop down?Thanks.....

Yep -- if it downshifts the EGTs will drop.
