that sounds right for any motor, i have never had to do a lowpressure oil test on a ps diesel, its always been high pressure checks, if there was no high pressure oil and the ipr was good and no leaks then you would just inspect to see if the resevoir was filling, otherwise i pulled the pump and inspected...lol
Those are the same pressures I see on mine also. BTW where on the HPOP reservoir did you put yours? I tried that but couldn't find any o-ring fittins that would work.
okay- thanks for the clarification. i took out the sensor that drives the stock idiot gage, and stuck a threaded compression fitting in that hole. then i ran copper tube up into the cab where my manual gage is located. i suck at electrical stuff, so i haven't yet figured out how to illuminate the face, but that i a different thread i suppose.
