I run a set of 39.5 on a Super Duty and have just over 20 K on them. They show signs of wear, and will need to be replaced within the next 4 to 5 K but, that was not bad.
If you need to keep them lasting longer, many guys run them backwards on the street. This keeps the leading edges from rounding over and the scoops in decent shape.
Looks odd, and once in a while you have to answer a queston or two, but you know the guys that don't have a set of street tires and are forced to run thier dirt tires all of the time, cuz they generally have them on backwards.

I guess that was for me.
Used to get wheeled a bunch, but now this truck spends most of its time on pavement. The times when it sees off road service, is when I tow the toy hauler out to the sand dunes or tow one of the trucks out to go 4 wheelin. The girls usually drive it to make the runs to the little girls roon, when we are out, nothing heavy anymore.
Sometimes I have a decent load on it, and other times not so much. Can't overload a Bogger, it will seperate! Learning experience, lol. They have worn rather flat, and not all crazy. I am happy with them.
I also have 38" SSR's under and Excursion that has over 30K. They are getting pretty loud now too as they are getting down there, but I have been pretty happy with both.

I just want to jump in with my 2 cents here. I personally like the Super Swamper Radials. I got 45k out my last set of 36x12.50x16.5's. They still had enough tread when I changed out to the SSR's, to pass the Lincoln head penny thing. I was running these on my 99 3/4t Dodge with the Cummins. I always wondered about the Boggers though, because of my latest project truck. But, back to the Boggers, that's not that much mileage for the money you have to put down on those things. But, that's my opinion. Oh yeah, one other thing, I don't think I like the SSR's either. Yeah they're better on wet roads and are a tad quieter, but the compounds they use I think are too soft because I'm going to have to get new tires here soon only after 25k, so I think I'm going to go back to the Super Swamper Radials, more mileage for the buck!

Duh! What I meant by Super Swamper Radials, was the TSL Super Swamper Radials, not to be confused with the SSR's. I hope that makes sense?

I am planning on buying a set of 38 X 11.00 X 15 boggers for my Bronco, It will probably see very little road, but for what they were made for,,MUD,, I guess I can compensate for the cost a little.
