Power window don't work.

Power window don't work.

I have a 98 Windstar and the passenger side window does not operate anymore. Are there some fuses I could check or is the motor shot?

Get a multimeter and check!! The switches can get alot of corrosion built up on the contacts especilly if you have left the window down in the rain!! With the key on, Starting at the motor check for voltage with the meter set to 20 dc volts, press the window switch, no voltage, move onto the switch, basically continue down the line until you find voltage!! Do not use a test light on a computer controlled vehicle!! You can get away with one on most circuits but if you put it on one that wasn't designed for that much current draw you can fry the computer!! A multimeter can do more and it is safe to use on all circuits. $15.00 for a cheap one is money well spent!!
