hello all, first time user. I just bought 1970 f100 w/ a dead 302 and a good 3 spd.tranny I've got a line one a 85 elec.feed back[junk] carbed 302 w/ aod trans I thinking of puting in . I will be replacing the intake & carb with the old style orignal hope it works!!

Are you swapping the AOD in as well? You might have to settle with swapping the carb for the time being. I think the intake bolts patterns are different, but don't take that as 100% correct since it has been a while since I ahave played with one. However, since the two 302's have different harmonic balancer weights, 70 28oz & 85 50oz you wont be able to swap the flywheel to the new engine. So if you are a die hard for the manual you will need to rebuild the '70 302 while you swap in the other drivetrain.
