more trouble then dropping in an efi 5.8. with your setup just get upper/lower 5.8 intake, distributor, oilpan and y pipe. everything else you already have in place off of the 5.0. just reuse your 5.0 wiring harness, accessories and locate a 5.8 efi computer from 92-95 and your done.

I did this for my 1987 f150 and now I plan to do the same thing to my 1989 f150. So far I know you will need the older electronic ignition distributor, a fuel pressure regulator or low pressure fuel pump, change the fuel line near the end to fit to the carb. Its not very hard, just kinda time consuming cause you will run into things that I haven't and vice versa.

What kinda trans you got? That is the most important thing right now.
