Can you tell me a bit more about your combination, What head castings do you have? standard or CJ valves? What intake are you currently running? As far as FEina52F1's post the ones I know of are....
Dove: approximately 22 manifolds... (from an old ad in a magazine I have, I'll try to post it soon)
Carrol Shelby: 2 ( http://www.carrollshelbyent.com/engine_parts_services.cfm )
Edelbrock: Performer and Perf RPM
Weiand: Single plane
Offy: 5 (portosonic {rare, lots of backorders}, 360 degree equaflow {kinda crappy in my opinion after looking up the ports} and I believe a 2 4v lowriser intake and then the dual port one, and a like "classic" one)
http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/Products/AMS/AMSM/7282.html )
Blue Thunder: 7 (428 CJ H/R 4V manifold (two versions) 428 CJ H/R Dominator manifold 427 medium riser H/R 4V manifold (two versions) 427 medium riser H/R Dominator manifold 390/427/428 6.71 blower manifold)
Don Hampton Blowers also has a blower manifold based off of the old Holman Moody but slightly revised unless it's just cast by blue thunder ( http://www.hamptonblowers.com/PRICE.HTML )

Is it actually posible to obtain anything from Dove.
I've had a parts supplier I used to work for fax and phone a few times not much response, and heard bad things.
>Weiand: Single plane
I have one of these poor excuses - good foundation for a blower though
>Offy: 5 (portosonic
dreaming of owning one of those

single or dual plane ??

I have one of theses this is an even a poorer excuse

that is the weiand - yuk

are any of these single plane ?
thanx

They have had porosity problem, George at Gessford found a way around that by sealing the intake using a process that sucks a resin or something into where there is porosity. As far as hearing bad things. I'm convinced that it's a good intake if you have the engine for it. I talked to someone once who said he picked up 9mph in the 1/4 with putting the dove single plane on his engine. enough convincing for me...

I've heard it's so so unless you port it then it's pretty good, but is beat by the dove hands down if you have the engine for it.

The picture of it that I have is for a BBC but it's single plane for that. and it only takes Carter carbs

I dont know, that's the info I got right off their site, you could try E-mailing Rob McQ at Blue Oval Performance he deals in blue thunder stuff and should know.
