best coil pack?

best coil pack?
Anybody want to give me their opinion on the best kind of coil packs to buy? I have done a search & all i really see is how to change them or find out which one is bad. I found some on ebay for about 100 bucks for the set, & auto parts stores want about $30-90 for just one. By the way this is on a 90 expy. 5.4.

Is that the DG-508 from Global ? IMHO as good as it gets. Of course,you can blow a wad of $$ & buy Granetelli's or whatever. If you are stock,stock cops & boots should be enough. Use the dielectric grease in the boots,though.

I have a set of Accel coils installed on my 97 expy, there is about 10,000 miles on'em, there are no issues so far. Three of the orginal coils had cracks in the gel tops so I decided to switch them all out on my latest spark plug change. Way cheaper than buying the ford coils.

Allright the coil packs came & I installed them Sat. I promise you I will never do that again, but truck is running great & I will let you guys know how well they hold up. Truck has 179,000 on it now.
