2004 Coil Packs

My truck has 105,000 miles and I have replaced several coil packs and it is misfiring again. Has anyone else had this much trouble? I have always been a Ford man but damn these cam phaser, coil pack and leaking manifold issues. Thinking about replacing all the coil packs at one time. Any suggestions oem vs aftermarket?

coils

I bought aftermarket coils off Amazon & havent had any problems with them.Been running them on my 04 for almost a yr. I believe they came from ARparts and were around $90 for all 8.

Have you replaced the spark plugs? If so did you replace the coil boots when you did? The boots can become formed to the old plug due to heat and then not make a good seal on the new plug. And of course old plugs can cause a misfire themselves or force the coils to work at a higher output causing them to be more likely to fail.
