Maybe the CV has a 3-channel setup?

To find out for sure, we'd have to look at a wiring diagram for the '08 SD - anyone with an EVTM for the '08?

I don't know what the issue was with the CV but all I can tell you is that it did not work the way yours does and it left a bad taste for me. It was downright scary if you tried to pull out and didnt give yourself tons of room. Granted it worked better if you were accellerating in a straight line, but try pulling out of a parking lot entrance where you had to make a turn and it was horrible. I think maybe they had the system programmed to aggressive back then. Maybe they are much better now.
