WE3ZS = We three Zs
There are only three members of our tribe, my Bride, Son and I and our last name begins with a Z.
Glad to see this thread come back around, cool stories!
Ok, here we go. I have a 79 Mustang coupe, aka notch back. I got one after a close friend put one together years ago and it was the baddest thing around. I wanted the same car, almost identical. So I built one. Although, mine is a bit different, faster with some mods compared to his.
The car is called a coupe, (coop as we Americans say it), but the brits say "coop-ay". My car is black as its inspriation was, so, carbon for the color, and coupe (coop-ay) as its a coupe body style and a copy of a previous hot rod. A play on the British accent.
The reason I came up with that name was to pay homage to the original car as well as the owner of the original. He was killed in a car accident years ago and I dont think he ever knew what I was building or why. More to that but I wont bore you here.
I'll try to dig up some shots of the original. Heres mine for now.
