I have a 1969 F-250 camper special with a 360 in it and my manual does not say what the coolant capacity is so I need to know what the Radiator capacity is so I can get the correct mixture of coolant and water.
Thanks for the help.
Jason
Jason, I buy antifreeze, and distilled water and mix them 50/50, and pour the mix in. By using distilled water you aren't adding minerals into the system that can add to corrosion. Your radiator water should stay nice and green for years. We used spring water at home when I was growing up and the mixed water looked like mud after a while. You can get the water at the grocery for $.70 a gal. Is just the radiator dry or is the engine dry also? Rad only will take maybe 3-4 gal. new rebuild 4-5.
