2003 f-350 a/c vent issue
I have an 2003 f350, when I would have the a/c on high and the turn truck off, It would go to the defroster when I would restart the truck, I would have to switch to normal then wait for it to blow threw the dash then go to max. Now it will not chang to any of the other centings. I changed the console switch today and no change. all fuses are fine. does anyone have a idea.

I would say you have vacuum leak some where. If you have ESOF 4x4 usually the hubs are pretty common spot to start. I would try following the vacuum lines in the truck and find out which one is leaking.

The default for the heating system, if it lacks proper vacuum, is to switch to full fan blowing through the defroster ducts.

If it is diesel, check that the vacuum pump mounted on the front passenger side wheel well is working. Mine wouldn't turn on every time and I had to replace it. Showed same symptoms. This is for the diesel models. I don't know if the gassers have it.
