dana rear

Have a 65 F100 body on a 68 frame. I need a Dana 60 8 lug rear. Center to center for the spring perches looks like about 40 ¼ “ Does anyone know what years would fit? Would prefer a full float rear as I have new drums and brake parts from the old one. I can not read the numbers on the rear in the truck.

The frames were the same up intil 72, in 73 i think the frame is wider in the rear of the truck.

Thanks for the info. I think there are some differences in the frames on the 61 to 66 trucks I am not sure exactly what fits what yet, but it looks like I am safe using a rear from 65 to 72. I still am not certain what differences there are between a 2x4 D60 and a 4x4 D60. I think the angle of the spring perches relative to the pinion is different.
