wifey likes all those waste of time realilty shows, the only show I watch with her is ER, other than that, sometimes I get a chance to watch Spongebob, Bob The Builder, Dora the Exploder, and some of the other kids shows with the kids to spend some time with them (the shows are a complete waste of time, but I enjoy the snuggling with kids part)
Twice a week, we get sent movies from Blockbuster, I watch one on Tuesday, and one on Thursday while I donate Plasma. I consider that my TV time.
Less than two weeks till the Pats and the Colts. Wyatt Earp is on late night on CMT. Not a big Costner fan. Much rather see him in Silverado. It beats watching Rosie or Cruise.
Welcome DD DD. Glad you stoped in to visit. Put another log on the fire and sit a spell. Tell us a bit about yourself. We have some events scheduled and I look forward to meeting you.
Hello, thank you for the invite. I like fords too. My first love was a black 1973 F150 custom ordered by my daddy with big tires on the back, an engine a police car couldn't catch if his stories can be believed, and a mock suede burgundy seat. Beautiful. Miss that truck. Do you know the song with lyrics "Make a Ford and a Chevy that still lasts 10yrs like it should?" Well that one made it to 15, but that is because daddy poured his heart and soul into it. I love the pictures of everyone's autos you posted on the site too. Very nice. Anybody got a '73 out there they would care to share a pic of? I am a sucker for the older Ford pick ups with the big round fenders too.
No I don't recall that song. Maybe someone else will. No pictures of a 73. But we did have a photo shoot a while back and pic's are on my web site at: http://www.mappyjack.com/FTEPhotoShoot.htm My oldest son has something againt fenders. He takes um off for some reason. Some pic's and vids of our first Camp, Shoot and Wheel weekend in 2005: http://www.mappyjack.com/FTEnov05.htm Guess which truck is his?
Basehor, KS is where I live, and I train pharmacy personnel on our software. I like the pictures. So you camp and play. Sounds fun. I honestly only camp where there are cabins and flushing plumbing. That is not really camping is it? What do you do and where do you live? I work in Lenexa, so I hob *** with the richies. lol. My mom is from southern MO and my dad from AR so I had simple roots. Basehor's motto is: "A little country near Kansas City" That's why I'm there, for the country.
Cool! We try to split stuff between Wichita and NE KS. Hope you can make one of our GTG's
My wife's idea of roughing it is to stay in a room that retails for under $50 a night. She seems to need a clock, coffe pot, hair dryer, and must have a box of tissue in the room.
I'm retired and we are in Wichita. I love to go way way out in the back country in Colorado and Utah and camp.
We have others that attend these things and camp at motels.
I think I would like to have coffee with your wife and may need to borrow her hair dryer. I kinda like coffee flavored icees too. But that is another story all together.
I will have to see if I can car pool with someone to one of the get togethers.
