Trucks still sick

Well after a couple hours of work we got a new 17* hpop installed along with a new IPR and the truck still wont fire. It cranks but it wont fire. What could it be?

On a side note, my knock is no longer present

Make sure the IPR electrical connection is on tight and the wires arent broke. It might just take a little time to get the air out. Check all the fuses. Is there any smoke from the exhaust at all while cranking?

I had same problem after replacing IDM and UVCH. Tried for a couple of days no luck. Charged Batteries overnight cleaned cables truck fired. Only thing I can think of is Batteries were not hot enough to run starter and electronics at the same time. Good luck.

it can and will happen just as fast on a diesel if not faster,
did you check you hpop level? if you just did injectors it will take up to 1/2 hour sometimes to start. if your battery are just a little low it wont start either.it will crank and sound fine but wont start.been thier done that

I never changed my pump but when I put new orings on my IPR and installed the HPX it took about 10 min to start. If all else fails(not recommended but...) disconnect the glowplug relay crank and give it a shot of WD40 could give it enough RPM to bring everything up to pressure.

If you have an HPX line pull it off and pull the fuse for the IDM. Then crank it until you get oil out of both head rails. PUt it all back together and it should spin right up.
