I am upgrading the points to electronic, gapping the plugs to .045, and possibly splitting the exhaust system to duals with 4' long truck mufflers (its in a bus, and currently has 30+ ft of straight pipe)
the stock holley has a governor on it, but it seems to work just fine. ( I might try my AFB on it just to see what happens)
this fall I was considering a mild cam,(if an FE cam will work), and timing chain set, any other ideas?
holley pro-jector 650 cfm throttle body setup, might be feasable also...
I might install a mild cam if it will fit, anybody have the stock specs?
will an FE timing chain set fit? will 390 Pistons work (pin size the same?)
I dont want to change heads, as it would be easier to just use a 390, but 8.5 to one pistons, and a mild cam seems like it would wake it up a little. destined to be a motorhome, need to get up hills once in a while.
391/clark 5-sp/6.14 axle (soon to be 5.83)9.00x20 tires (someday to be 10.0x22.5)

yes

it is the port size that will have the most effect
