How difficult would it be to install one of the 400hp roush 351 in a 92-96 f250?
Would it be as simple as dropping it in then hooking up the fuel injection and wiring harness or would it take serious modifications to make the engine work with all the factory computer controls?
The stock 5.8 intake, fuel systems and computer will not support 400hp, so all would have to be upgraded. That means you will need a Roush recommended EFI intake, larger fuel injectors and pump, and either a Tweecer type device with the stock computer or a stand-alone programmable computer. It's not out of the question at all, there are folks here running much more powerful engines, it's just about how much time and money you have.
