Sorry I shoulda clarified.. don't want to hijack the thread. My bellhousing has a leak in that same area (by the inspection plate) and yeah, I have a 5 spd manual. Where would a leak in that same place as his pic be coming from? I can't find my damn camera cord or I'd take a picture. Could it be my slave cylinder? That inspection plate doesnt come off does it? I think it should but it looks as if it's between the engine and tranny to get it off? Don't know.. heh.
ok so the tightened the bolts didnt fix it.. any other suggestions?
I would replace the fitting with a new one or replace it with some fuel line like the other guys were saying, that will solve your problem for sure.

Touch the fluid dripping from the tranny with your finger, if its brown (motor oil) and I'm sure it is, then its your rear main seal. If its red then you've got other issues on your hands.
