fuel return line question

Hey guys, I had to pull my IPR last night and clean it out. While doing so I noticed the fuel return lines from the front of the heads to the fpr were really dry rotted, sure enough one blew out on the way to work today. It sucked!!!! Here's the ?, buy new lines from ford or just have some made up at the local hose supplier? If i have them made, what is the max psi they should ever see in them so I am sure to get the right hose. Thanks in advance, Eric

Buy new ones from Ford. There is up to 80 psi in those lines and there is alot of stuff for them to run so you want the braid lines still. They won't be cheap but it will be worth the hassle to just buy some rather than have them made.

Ok, thanks for the input. Mine weren't braided stock though, just a aeroquip line. Maybe they have been replaced. Oh well, off to the dealership. Thanks again

yeah they must have been replaced before. Not sure if I have ever heard of the stock braided ones going bad but something must have happened to them.
