I just put a 7.5 BOSS standard duty on my '00 F250 with XA #5200 springs. Doesn't hardly squat the truck.
I'd like to get a bigger plow, but for now, it was used and cheap and works great so I'm just going to leave it alone.
I was told the actual snow plow prep trucks came with the 5.4L with 4.10's and a L/S rear. My buddy had one with L/S front and rear, and he fit 34x10.50 LTB's on it without any rubbing.
