Its just easier to let the ford dealer do it, I usually work on all my vehicles myself and and would rather not have anyone else touching them but this is a real safety hazard, I just took my truck and an explorer in and watched them. It only took about 10min. each vehicle. That way they put it on and they are liable for it.

well since everyone is on this subject ...My cruise has went out in the last month or 2 could this recall be the problem????Or are there any other reasons for it???
