Injectors Ticking?

Injectors Ticking?
Hey Guys - I was wondering if any of you had run into injectors "ticking". When I am at idle I hear nothing but when i get into the pedel i hear this ticking and the more load I put in the truck the louder it gets. I think it is the injectors, they have only 120,000 miles on them. Is it the injectors ticking, if so should I replace them?

Have you checked the OIL pressure with a guage..... lifters will tick if pressure is low. If your positive it is the injectors replacement is way over due at 120K..... Check the #8 injector line and the fuel pedal cable see if they are touching... there should be a foam cover where they touch to disipate the tick.....

Hey well I checked the throttle cable and there foam is perfect and even has some rubber right where the injector line and foam touch. Is it possible for the injectors to tick? The truck is a 89 and has never been touched other than regular maintainance. I got it off the original owner who has recipets for every oil change since new (all done at the dealer), even the original window sticker.
What other things should I be looking at replacing with 120k miles?
