tick tick tick is gone!

After 6 years with my 6.0 I traded her off on a new 6.7. Me and my 6.0 had a love hate relationship. Every time I drove it I could hear the tick tick tick of a ticking time bomb. Even after 7 k in upgrades I never felt confident in the truck and when she ate another injector last week I said enough is enough. I should have my new truck tomorrow!!! I sure hope this one treats me better than my 05. Anything I need to know about the 6.7?

Congrats on the new truck! There is a lot of great information in the 6.7 section section. Please go through it and you should be fine. There are no main issues with the 6.7 in my opinion. There are of course mods and improvements, but no real issues. Unless you get the FX4 package, in which you should replace the craptastic Motorcraft/Rancho stock shocks and steering stabilizer.

Don't they call them Rancho branded shocks?

Define "they"?

I don't care what you call them. I hold Ford and Rancho responsible equally. They shocks are CRAP.

Yup, its the short bed. It's adjusts to different bed lengths as well. I love the deck, the Mrs. and I are big into sledding so it really gets used. The sleds don't get covered in salt. Best part is not having to tow a trailer on icey roads now.

The ramp also flips so can I load quads.

I have the basic 4x4 black colored shocks.
They still work at 50,000.

Rancho shouldn't put their name on them if they don't want us calling them Rancho shocks.
